The expression „crop rotation” is used to nominate a system defined within the confines of the field of crop-culture, which results the improvement of the quality and quantity of the plants grew thanks to the course projected in advance. In this case, the agrotechnical expression is being borrowed for Várfok Gallery’s exhibitions organised during two summer months, as the process of the four group shows following each other is comparable to the system determinated by the title.
After the exhibition of Sándor Rácmolnár, on June 8th 2010 the first stage of the series of the exhibitions is to be seen already during the day. The different stages of the series (closing date: July 30) are renewed every second week, every second Tuesday. This way, on the following dates, a new picking is presented every time: June 8th, 22nd, then July 6th and 20th.
The works presented at once are related to the themes connected to the notion of „crop rotation” by having a common denominator, hence all together art works will join the topics of nature, the world of plants, fertility, the aspect of geometry deriving from the theory of systematization, the heat and swelter of summer… and the remedy – the procedures of cooling. The period of „Crop Rotation” will so be a diversified and thrillful visual experience!
