Endre Rozsda in the Centrális Gallery, Budapest

Endre Rozsda was one of the most important modernists of the 20th century Hungarian art history. His diary from 1948 till 1956, containing more than 400 drawings, now shown in Budapest, was also exhibited in Paris. The diary can be divided into thematical chapters: it tells about the state organized fake-suits, the courts, cultural life, the world of the Music Academy in Budapest, work in the agriculture, everyday life in Budapest, the world of the baths and the revolution in 1956. This complete collection will be shown for the first time in Budapest. The interviews made with the emigrants after 1956 make the exhibition even more complete.

The exhibition can be visited till the 10th of December in the Centrális Galéria, Arany János u. 32., Budapest
